New page

Godbourne
The godbourne are men and women of great stature and greater power. Descendants of the ideas of the gods, they wield an element bestowed upon them by the god they were born of.

Water
These blue-skinned peoples control water. They can move it, shape it, fire it into jets of focused power. They are born of Astarielle or Vasarion.
Fire
These godbourne come in either skin as grey as ash or as red as fire. They are hot to the touch, and their blood boils with primordial heat. They will often fight with daggers of flame, and use those daggers to splash their boiling blood on an opponent.
Most, however, are simple smiths or cooks, using their control over flame to manage temperature and potency. They are the blessed of Lhireiya or Treloa.
Lightning
These peoples range from white skinned to skin of pure silver, almost metallic. They can control lightning, generally in huge blasts of power, though some have been known to harness the lightning to enhance their speed and the concusive force of their punches or weapons.
Those not combat focused will often use their powers for removing blockages or delivering messages. Xyranthien gave life to these.
Ice
The blue of the skin of these godbourne is a deep, reflective blue that shimmers lightly. They are cold to the touch and can control ice, forming it into armor and weapons, and able to freeze the blood of even their fiery kin.
Those who live a life of peace, though, use it for convenience. A cold drink is a better drink. Lokarien blesses them from his icy home.
Light
Another blessed of Lhireiya, these golden skinned peoples are beautiful to behold. They are great healers, but their wrath is searing and brutal if provoked. It is said that a godbourne of light cannot be infected by any known disease or poison, though that may just be legend.
Darkness
These dark-skinned people ares are known as the smallest of the godbourne. Where a typical godbourne stands at least eight feet, these barely top six. They are slim and they hide in the shadows. They, however, are a remnant of gods gone before. Zeh’Laxaehr leaves his claws in this world, still.
Death and rot
Only one of these peoples exists. He is the Lord Of Rot, living in his putrid valley somewhere as yet unknown. He was the commander of old death's legions, an army of those just like him. But they were all banished by the new god, Tirangil, and the Lord Of Rot festers in his rage. He controls the life force of anyone he comes close enough to, corrupting and rotting their souls until their lifeless husks go to wander Rotmeir, the eternal punishment grounds. He shows no mercy. He was taught not to by his creator, Hra’Kevoth.
