Pinecrest

A distant neighbor to Oakanrel, Pinecrest is a beautiful city on the borders of the Gardewood. It's a unique city in that it has no walls, simply spreading out in a rambling spread of low buildings, only about two stories high at the tallest point.

Pinecrest is surrounded, and filled, with pine trees, growing up to it's borders and lining it's cobblestone streets. It's wooden buildings are so naturally ingrained into the nature around it, that sometimes, forest animals will walk the streets beside the elves, humans, dwarves and halflings who live there.

Pinecrest isn't a city of war. It's an elven city at it's core but it welcomes all civilized races to it's streets. It has no formal military presence, but guards do patrol the streets, and rangers and druids are always employed in case of animal aggression or poaching.

All in all, Pinecrest is a tourist destination. Many adventurerrs, vacationers, or families willing to settle down will come for the beauty and calm that Pinecrest offers.
