The great museum at the center of Oakanrel, known as the Korelnai Library, is legend in the academic communities of Kirandur. Explorers travel for miles, some of them making pilgramages, to this place, to learn, and to see the historical treasures the elves have compiled. The Korelnai Library stands taller than a mountain, built of strong trees that were grown together into a massive, tree-shaped amalgamation. It's central atrium is large enough to fit Rendgarde itself, with walkways crisscrossing the cavernous space in beautiful mosaic patterns. Doors lead into exhibition halls, where the weapons of heroes, the books of great scholars, and the raiments of great priests are on display for study and meditation. The library portion of Korelnai is in the crown of the tree, nearly a mile off the ground, and exposed to the open air, though protected by powerful magics, so the fragile books aren't destroyed. Scholars won't be affected by snow, rain, or intense heat, they simply enjoy the breeze, the smell of the forest, and the serenity this place of peace offers. The Librarians of Korelnai are powerful druids, well-versed in many of the subjects collected in this archive, but also guardians of the magics that hold this place together. There are always seven of them, highly intelligent, highly dedicated monastic men and women who give their lives to Korelnai, it's patrons, and it's precious treasures.
