Harrow's Keep

Harrow's Keep is one of Illeskir's chief defensive stations, positioned on it's western coast. A city unique for it's cliff built construction, it presents it's face to the sea, however it's built in a massive stair-step formation, with the peasantry at it's base and the royal and military leads at it's peak.

Unlike the mighty Kuloran, the city's tier system isn't separated by guarded walls for each tier. The man who formed the location, Admiral Lenom Harrow, simply found it a strategically placed shipyard and prime fishing spot.

The city's soldiers also range in rank from simple boat guards and foot soldiers, to high ranking knights, known as the Wavegarde. The Wavegarde soldiers are few, but powerful, given blessings by priests of Vasarion and special steel armor that can become buoyant if necessary, without losing much integrity.

The actual Harrow's Keep is a long and low building built at the top of the cliffs. Surrounded by thick stone walls festooned with cannons, it acts as a deterrant to enemy ships that may launch themselves against it. The keep has a clear path down through the city, further muddying the city's shape into a large horseshoe, leading to the city lord's private dock, but also acting as a staging ground for city defenders to rally themselves.
