The Field Drake
The field drake, a native monster of the Holdurin Plains, is a large, dragon like creature with none of the intelligence of a dragon. Long and lithe, they range in size, when fully grown, from five to ten feet long, and four to six feet high at the shoulder.
Known for their ferocious features, long teeth, and sharp claws, field drakes are imposing, though usually docile. Used mostly as pack animals when tamed, wild field drakes can be fiercely territorial. Field drakes are unable to fly, though they use their medium sized wings to extend their jumps to great distances.
