Bloodfolk
The Bloodfolk
The diranad, or the bloodfolk, are a creation of the old god of blood, Khol'Torad. They form from the union of element and blood, spawning vastly different creatures from each.
Tyldiran
The tyldiran, or the dustbloods, are native to the Holdurin Plains. They have fused with the iron rich dust of the plains, turning half of their blood stream into living, recreating iron dust. They can use this dust to strengthen their blood magics, and they are dangerously powerful with enough time and training. The tribe wanders, but keeps to the borders, wanting no part of the conflicts within.
Coldiran
The coldiran, the sparkbloods, have no ancestral home, though many are known to walk the lands of Wyndrakis. Their blood is liquid fire, though their outer skin keeps much of this heat contained. They are natural smiths, and, should they choose, they will use their blood to enchant a magical steel, giving it the power to flow like water, and recreate itself upon it's destruction. Despite their fiery cores, they are a friendly sort, though reclusive, and expensive to commission pieces from.
lihdiran
The lihdiran, the thunderblood, are mountain warriors who find themselves in the high peaks of most of Kirandur's mountains. They are the only beings on Kirandur without wings to be able to fly from birth and not through any other, magical means. They are naturally fast, and their blood sparks like lightning. Their touch gives light static shocks, and their strikes produce much larger ones. Most lihdiran are monks, but many have taken to monster hunting to entertain themselves. Yet others are natural performers, emerging from their hermitage to be great performers and acrobats for the peopls of the civilized lands.
