Durola

Durola is the Rose Of Lekriast, a huge city of flowers and beautiful, elegant architecture.

Durola's current ruler, it can either be king or queen, lives here, in a palace carved of the most precious of stones and metals, crafted into the shape of a massive rose, it's various petals acting as wings of the palace. The city itself is all high, soaring archways and bridges, lined with living ropes of flowers and vines. The sweeping, swirling architecture of the city is a tribute to the elegant ways of nature and the garden, and it is a dedication to Lekyros and Eludora.

The spring celebrations in Durola are legend, as all the flowers are sent into glorious bloom by the druid council who governs the city. The flowers will sometimes grow to such sizes, the city becomes invisible under a canopy of massive flowers and trees. From within, the fountains at the center of the castle's compound will be magically enhanced, sending waves of sparkling water up and over the city, watering all of the plant life within it and beginning the regrowth that winter has made necessary.
