Moralon Etherhal

Moralon Etherhal is, to put it simply, Hell. The evil half of Tirangil's dycotomy, it is controlled by a sentient mist, known by no name to anyone, but in ancient pages, the Moranak. Far to the north, past the Stormshatter Mountains, this place rots upon the surface of the world. The Moranak knows when living souls arrive and attempts to corrupt them, twist, or kill them. Places of light, like the Stoneshire Academy, are here, but dark places, such as Morahain, the city led by cultists of Moranak, lies here.

The Moranak

The Moranak can manipulate physical objects to a small degree, and often manifests in the form of a traveler's loved ones, until examined closely, when their brutal spikey ice golem form launches forward, attempting to kill the grieving soul foolish enough to walk here.

The Moranak manipulates the minds of those within it's domain. It will play mental tricks on whomever it chooses to, make them see visions of that which is not there, and torture them with images of their loved ones in distress. Shelter can be taken from the mist, though shelter is sparse indeed.

Cultists Of The Moranak

Those who worship the mist and have been twisted by it live in Morahain, a twisted city of architecture only made possible by the Moranak's influence. These acolytes of the Moranak perform brutal sacrifices here, to appease the Moranak and Tirangil. There are factions interwoven into this city, however, and bloody wars often break out, keeping the population relatively small.
