Kirandur Technologies

The gnomes of Kirandur are the primary technologists. They have made most of the technological advancements in the world, but much of it is bulky and far too expensive for most to afford or use. Here are a few of the various technologies that gnomes have created:

• Plumbing: Widely accessible, plumbing has been integrated into most urban environments, with some making it's way to the more rural areas as well. This does include running water with heating and cooling capabilities through magic.
• Food storage: Gnomes have made large, though quiet, devices to cool food, though they are incredibly expensive and mostly owned by the noble or the lucky.
• Memorograms: These are snapshots of reality copied and fixed to an object, such as a piece of paper, capturing the visuals of the moment in perfect clarity. Memorograms can come in three forms: Visual and audio, which would be able to play out entire scenes, usually up to about one minute, visual only, static images on paper, glass, or metal, and audio only, allowing music to be recorded and distributed in extremely limited qualities, because again, this technology is new and incredibly expensive.
• Firearms: Firearms do exist, but are significantly weaker than typical ranged weapons such as bows and even spears. They are in the very early stages of experimentation, though most gnomes think them to be largely impractical and have abandoned the project.
