Lhireiya, Goddess Of The Sun
Appearance
Lhireiya takes the form of a young woman, perhaps in her twenties, with long, bright gold hair. That is no mere coloration though, her hair is actually spun gold, the softened metal pooling at the small of her back. Her smile is radiant, and she typically wears a dress of the same golden color as her hair. She carries no visible weapons, wears no armor. But if her anger is invoked, her fiery displays are legend.
Relationships
Lhireiya holds a close, personal friendship with the goddess Eludora. Lhireiya loves to help her friend tend and grow her garden. She also holds great respect for Lekyros, though they've never interacted on a personal level. Her brother, Lokarien, is someone she tends to stay away from, though, they do meet on occasion, typically when there is an eclipse. They dislike each other, but not enough to come to blows.
Dwelling
Lhireiya lives at the core of Kirandur's sun, in a glowing golden keep, wherein she basks in it's light. She has no company there, nobody could survive, and it's an unbreachable fortress, even to the other gods.
Tenets
Lhireiya believes in the betterment of the world. She shines her light wherever it is needed, but remember, too much sunlight can be a hindrance. She teaches her followers to remember this, saying that the wrath of the sun is dangerous, despite it's warmth.
Ways Of Worship
Though some farmers pray for rain, thus invoking Astarielle, some pray for sun, to feed and nurture their crops. A sunny day is a happy one, and that is when Lhireiya is most praised and worshipped. Some will create suncatchers, great crystal prisms that reflect and refract sunlight. These are the greatest of holy objects to those of the Lhireiyan faith.
