Cruxik, God Of Stone And War

Appearance

Cruxik is a giant. He stands at an imposing 10 feet tall, heavily muscled, wearing black stone plate armor, heavily spiked. He has the facial features and build of a typical dwarf, for whom he is the patron. His black hair and beard are made from infinitesimally thin crystals that are unbreakable, and his face is grim and unsmiling. He holds a tall warhammer, taller than he is in fact, with a brutal spike of granite on one side of it.

Relationships

Though Sorrelia is a powerful warrior goddess, Cruxik is the god of war. He lives it. He breathes it. He bleeds it. His stoney soul makes him somewhat calous in many of his decisions, though he often searches for what's right, even if it isn't just. The only time he is ever seen to smile is in his frequent contests of strength with Xyranthien and Treloa. They are his closest friends, and have always been his one weakness. Even friendship can cure the stoniest of hearts.

Dwelling

Cruxik lives alone in a great keep burried miles and miles beneath the surface of Kirandur, hidden somewhere beneath the Stormshatter Mountains.. Here, he plots his conquests and works amongst his chosen in the mines, mining the godly metal his brethren require, though he delivers all of it to Treloa so she can do her own work. The keep is a grey behemoth, with black stone spires stabbing into the cave ceiling above it, and patrolled by the mightiest of his chosen dwarves.

Tenets

There are two things Cruxik believes in: Hard work and harder fighting. He tells his disciples to work hard, fight harder, and always do what's right, even if it isn't just. His cold, calculating demeanor is reflected in his teachings.

Ways Of Worship

When the dwarves go to the mines every morning, they sing to their god, Cruxik. Each fall of a pick is matched by a word of prayer to Cruxik, and every axe raised in battle is met by a war cry to the god. Warriors, stonemasons, and every man or woman who has known a long day of work in the mines or at battle, pray to him.
