Adinale

Appearance

Adinale often appears as a man of middling height. He wears a simple grey suit and wears a crown of gold upon his head, the only ornamentation he wears, to show him as the leader of the pantheon. He carries a pocket watch on a chain about his neck, and always has a quill near to hand, or a book. His face is warm and kind, his eyes equally so, and he always has a joke or a smile to offer those who come before him.

Relationships

Adinale loves all of his brethren, even Tirangil, who many have outcast. His sister, Sorrelia, is one of the dearest things to him, along with his closest companion and confidant, Lekyros. He hasn't quite gotten to know Eludora, even after all these countless aeons.

Dwelling

Adinale is a simple type. He lives in a modest cottage style home, high in the clouds. It's carried by four winged turtles, great sages that spend their days holding the house aloft, yet studying and learning all, as they sought to in life. Adinale is often found within, sitting at his desk, writing in some book or reading from it. His walls are crowded with books, scrolls, inkpots and quills, and he always has time for a spot of tea.

Tenets

Just as Adinale is, his teachings are simple: Show kindness to all, even those who may not deserve it. Always pursue knowledge, and use it in the way most responsible. Always be open to other's interpretations, and keep an open mind. There's always more room for knowledge.

Ways Of Worship

Most mages worship Adinale, for it is he who wrote magic into existence. He discovered it quite by accident one day while thinking how he would rather like some more tea, but hadn't the time to harvest the necessary ingredients. He thought it, and through a complex weave of his hands, which was one of the things he did while he was thinking, he made them all appear. Fascinated, he continued to study the different effects of different wishes and words, and eventually, magic was born.

Researchers pray to Adinale to aid them in their search. Wizards credit him in their books of arcane discovery. Librarians have been known to thank him when a book returns unharmed. But, Adinale takes his worship in simple terms. Helping your neighbor is enough for him.
